The example below should be used for example purposes only. Each individual Westie should have a treatment program tailored especially for that Westie depending on the severity of the Malassezia and the Westie’s overall condition of health:

Heather (Severe)

• Bathe twice a week in Nizoral shampoo for 2 months
• Bathe once a week in Nizoral shampoo for until skin is clear
• Ketoconozale ¼ tablet, twice daily for 120 days
• Cortisone shot
• Otomax twice daily in each ear for 10 days
• Flint River Ranch food mixed with a little cottage cheese
• Flint River Ranch treats
